Transamerica Building Tour

Join the LAI Golden Gate Chapter for a tour of the iconic Transamerica Pyramid, at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 13th. Happy hour to follow at 5:00 pm.

Encompassing an entire city block in San Francisco's Financial District, the Transamerica Pyramid Center is a symbol of the strength of San Francisco. Designed by famed architect William Pereira and completed in 1972, the Transamerica Pyramid stands at a height of over 850 feet. The building is the second tallest building in San Francisco, and its illuminated spire is the most recognizable landmark on the San Francisco skyline, but few have had access to its upper floors. SHVO purchased Transamerica Pyramid Center in 2020. In 2024, together with Foster + Partners, SHVO completed the remastering of this iconic asset. Our tour will include a guided walk through the renovated Lobby, the Redwood Park, Norman Foster's "Vertical City" Exhibition, the 27th Floor Sky Lobby, the 36th Floor Leasing offices, and the private bar on the 48th Floor.
